Island Sports Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: MANAGUA – JICARO ISLAND
Airport greeting by our English speaking guide and private transfer to the western shores of Lake Nicaragua and the ancient colonial town of Granada. Early arrivals receive a tour of colonial Granada upon arrival. Private motorboat transfer to Jicaro Island Ecolodge for dinner and lodging.
DAY 02: JICARO ISLAND, LAKE NICARAGUA
Kayaking in warm Lake Nicaragua, mountain biking on a remote peninsula and swimming in Lake Nicaragua. All this around the paradisiacal islands of the Las Isletas Archipelago. Lunch, dinner and lodging at the exclusive and unique Jicaro Island Ecolodge.
DAY 03: JICARO ISLAND – MOMBACHO VOLCANO
Breakfast at hotel and transfer in private motorboat to the forested eastern slopes of the dormant Mombacho Volcano. Hiking in a private cacoa and banana hacienda that has private thermal springs, primary forest, great bird life and sweeping views of the Mombacho nature reserve and Lake Nicaragua and Las Isletas Archipelago. Return to Jicaro Island for a gourmet dinner lake front and lodging in an unique split-level private bungalow. 
DAY 04: JICARO ISLAND – OMETEPE ISLAND
Breakfast at hotel and motoboat transfer to Puerto Assese where you luggage and private vehicle are waiting for transfer south to the fresh water port of San Jorge. Public ferry with your guide to the largest volcanic lake island in the world, Isla de Ometepe. Dock greeting on the island and 4x4 transfer to the sandy lake beach of Santo Domingo for lunch, dinner and lodging at San Juan de la Isla, an exclusive 153 acre hacienda with private streams, fruit orchids, monkeys, tropical birds and great views of both island volcanoes.
DAY 05: OMETEPE ISLAND
Lake kayaking, mountain biking and swimming from the privileged position of a private hacienda on the island’s finest beach. All meals and lodging at San Juan de la Isla.
DAY 06: OMETEPE ISLAND – CONCEPCION VOLCANO
Private 4x4 transfer to the trail head at the base of the active Concepción Volcano, guided climb of the volcano with English speaking guide, local mountain expert and pack lunch. Return in afternoon to Santo Domingo Beach. All meals and lodging at San Juan de la Isla.                              
DAY 07: OMETEPE ISLAND – MASAYA MARKET – MANAGUA
Breakfast beach front and morning swim or horseback ride on the beach. Afternoon 4x4 transfer to island dock for ferry to the mainland. Port greeting in San Jorge, lunch in Rivas and private transfer to Managua with a stop at the artisan’s market in Masaya in route for a quick shop. Dinner in Managua, lodging at the small and stylish Hotel Los Robles.  
DAY 08: MANAGUA
Private transfer to the airport for flight home.
