For adventure travelers who like to push themselves a bit, but also live well, this is a lot of fun. The Survivor Nicaragua adventure does not force you to eat worms or obligate you to eliminate your friends from the trip, but you might have to poke them so they keep up. Unlike the TV program Survivor Nicaragua, there is no prize beyond the shear joy of being at one with nature while testing your conditioning and experiencing Nicaragua’s spectacular geography. Survivor Nicaragua hikes to summits of smoking craters, across deserted beaches with crashing waves, through jungle nature reserves finishing with a touch of luxury and relaxation. After all, while the Nicaragua Survivor contestants are suffering to find sufficient food and sleeping with mosquitoes – Survivor Nicaragua TV producers and crew members are enjoying Nicaragua’s finest beach hotels and eating fresh cooked seafood. We thought our Survivor Nicaragua trippers should get the both of both worlds: the physical adventure challenge of Survivor Nicaragua contestants, with a good bit of that Hollywood producer treatment.

Survivor Nicaragua Itinerary

DAY 01: MANAGUA - LEON
Airport greeting by our English speaking guide and private transportation for transfer to the Hotel El Convento in historic León. 
DAY 2: LEON - MOMOTOMBO VOLCANO
Breakfast and 4X4 transfer to the active Momotombo Volcano. Guided climbing on the Momotombo Volcano to mid-way camp point. Camping on the slopes of the volcano, inside the upper reaches of the cone's forest. Lunch, dinner and camping gear included. 
DAY 3: MOMOTOMBO VOLCANO - LEON
Climb to the summit of Momotombo Volcano for the most spectacular view in Central America. A breathtaking vista of the Maribios Volcano Range, the volcanoes to Nicaragua's south and the great lakes of Nicaragua. This climb is known to have high winds and there are loose rocks and footing, a real challenge with nature. Descent and 4x4 transfer to León for lodging at Hotel El Convento.
DAY 04: LEON - JUAN VENADO WILDLIFE REFUGE - GRANADA
Breakfast at hotel and 4x4 transfer to the Pacific Coast island of Juan Venado for an 18 km hike along the reserve’s wild wave swept beach, inside the reserve forest there are iguanas, egrets and crocodiles and the beach is visited regularly by sea turtles. Finish the hike at Salinas Grande and private transfer to Granada for lodging on Central Park at Hotel Plaza Colón.     
DAY 05: GRANADA - MOMBACHO VOLCANO – SURVIVOR NICARAGUA BEACH
Breakfast at hotel and 4x4 transfer to the slopes of the dormant Mombacho Volcano for zip-line (canopy) tour high up in the cloud forest. This is the finest zip-lining tour in Nicaragua. Transfer to the beach where Survivor Nicaragua was filmed, Playa Yankee or Yankee Beach. Lodging where the Survivor show producers slept, on a bluff overlooking the beach at Orquidea del Sur.
DAY 06: SURVIVOR NICARAGUA BEACH
Breakfast and lodging at Orquidea del Sur above the beach used for Nicaragua Suvivor. Enjoy the Survivor Nicaragua beach. Or optional activities like surfing or fishing (not included in standard trip, let us know if you want activities here).  
DAY 07: PACIFIC COAST – MASAYA MARKET - MANAGUA
Breakfast and morning swim at the Survivor Nicaragua Beach before afternoon transfer to Managua for lodging at the Hotel Intercontinental. Stop in route to visit the Masaya Market where Nicaragua’s native crafts are on fine display.
DAY 08: MANAGUA 
Transfer to airport for flight home.
