For those who want to experience tropical nature and the warm Pacific Ocean, but don't want to be stuck with a crowd, this is the ideal trip. This one week of nature and relaxation features two very exclusive private nature parks, one mountain and one coastal. Both utilize cabins that are immersed in nature and full of the sights and sounds of Nicaragua's unique flora and fauna, and the latter includes the song of the sea, nature's most effective sound-track for relaxation. The Montibelli Private Nature Reserve is tucked in the mountains between Managua and Masaya, a tropical dry forest that offers excellent birding and a spectacular array of butterflies and Morgan's Rock Ecolodge is perched on forest cliffs that rise above Nicaragua deep blue Pacific Coast and the light beige sandy beach of the reserve. This is nature walks and long rests engulfed in nature with a swim in the sea to warm the soul.

Private Nature Parks Beach and Ecotour Itinerary

DAY 01: MANAGUA - MONTIBELLI PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE
Greeting at the airport by an English speaking guide and private transfer to the Sierra Managua mountain range and the old coffee hacienda and private nature reserve of Montibelli. Lodging in private cabin.
DAY 02: MONTIBELLI - CHOCOYERO NATURE RESERVE - MONTIBELLI
Country breakfast and birding watching with local birding guide. Lunch at the reserve and private transfer with English speaking guide to the tiny and nature rich canyon nature reserve of El Chocoyero, home to howler monkeys, agouti, toucans and more than a thousand cliff dwelling Chocoyos (Nicaraguan for green parakeet). Return to Montibelli for dinner and lodging.
DAY 03: MONTIBELLI - MORGAN'S ROCK
Country breakfast and morning hike or more birding. Lunch at the old Montibelli hacienda house and private transfer south to the private nature reserve at Morgan's Rock Ecolodge. Morgan's Rock boasts 800 hectares of private forest reserve and a 1,000 hectare reforestation project. The forests of Morgan's Rock Ecolodge beach hotel are home to howler monkeys, sloths, white tail deer and numerous species of birds. The beach is of fine light beige sand and is a sea turtle nesting site from August to December each year. This exclusive hotel has 15 bungalows that all face the sea and sunsets and are made of precious woods. The design of the bungalows is quite special with interior gardens and great ventilation and light. All mix forest and beach views and feature a king size bed, sofa bed and private deck. The cabins are connected to the main lodge by a 100 meter suspension bridge that crosses a forested canyon. Dinner and lodging at Morgan's Rock.
DAYS 04-05: MORGAN'S ROCK, PACIFIC COAST
Swimming in the ocean, hiking or biking Morgan's private nature reserve or just relaxing in the nature of your private deck. All meals, drinks and lodging at Morgan's Rock.
DAY 06: MORGAN'S ROCK - MANAGUA
Morning swim and late morning meeting by English speaking guide and private transportation for transfer north to Managua. Visit to the restored 19th century artisan's market in Masaya in route. Dinner and lodging at the Hotel Intercontinental in Managua's new center.
DAY 07: MANAGUA
Breakfast at hotel and private transfer to airport for flight home.
