RATES - TOUR COSTS

Some visitors to our site write us to say, "where are the tour costs?", "hey, can't find the rates!" Although we are aware that some travelers want to compare prices before making contact, we don't publish our rates anywhere on our web site. The reason is that we need to know a few variables in advance in order to quote your potential visit to Nicaragua with us. This is written at the bottom of each tour page, but so many people in a hurry don't get that far. Please help us when you ask for rates with a few details: When do you plan to travel? If not target dates, then month? Or at least the year you plan to visit. Since we only offer private tours, the per person cost of each trip depends on the number of people you plan to visit with. Please also specify which trip(s) you are interested in when you supply dates (or time period) and number of people in your traveling party.

PAYMENT TERMS

To confirm reservations a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the package must be received by Tours Nicaragua. Itineraries that feature private boat travel on the San Juan River and/or hotel nights at Morgan’s Rock or Río Indio Lodge, as well as all tour programs scheduled for December through March require payment in full at least 40 days before tour start date
We request deposits (or payment in full - depending on program features and travel dates) as soon as the client is committed to take the tour to guarantee room at hotels. Payments can be made via bank wire transfer or by VISA credit card using an authorization form. Instructions will be sent to the customer upon request.
All deposits are refundable minus a 15% charge up until 40 days before tour start date. If a program must be canceled less than 40 days before arrival date no refunds are promised by Tours Nicaragua, although we will do all within our power to refund as much as possible on a case by case basis.
For those programs that do not require full payment in advance, balance of payment can be made in our Managua office upon arrival with VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit cards or in cash with US dollars. Travelers' checks are not accepted. Personal checks can only be accepted for payment or deposit if mailed DHL or FedEx and received by Tours Nicaragua at least 90 days before tour start date.

RESPONSIBILITY

The criteria of excellence in quality of service will be followed at all times. TOURS NICARAGUA acts only as an agent for the passenger in regard to travel, whether it be by horseback, 4x4, car, microbus, bus, boat or airplane and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may occur during a program. The tour operator can accept no responsibility or loss or additional expense due to changes in schedules or other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to accept or refuse any person as a member of any tour or to change or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand. All rates are subject to change. TOURS NICARAGUA cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss of passenger's baggage, accident or loss of personal property, or for additional expenses due to storms, acts of God or other causes beyond our control. Any such expenses will be paid for by the passenger.
